Our School

At Good Shepherd Preschool, children will develop spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, and cognitively in a trusting and warm environment.  We celebrate the uniqueness of each child and encourage each to develop a sense of self-worth, a love of learning, and a respect for others.

Our school day is from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The children eat an early morning snack and lunch in their classroom.  Our classrooms are located in the new Life Parish Center and are vibrant and engaging. Our prices and classes offered are listed below.  Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to come see our school.

Class Descriptions

In addition to our academic and Faith Formation curriculum, we offer Music, Spanish, Therapy dog visits, and many specials.

18 month – 2 year program

Our 2s class offers a fun and friendly introduction to preschool.  Students work on their communication skills and learn to make new friends.  We explore God's world through colors, shapes, numbers, and the alphabet.

3 year program

Our 3s are all about talking and growing.  Our curriculum focuses on building their vocabulary and their love of asking and discovering "why?”  The 3s ability to sit and listen for longer periods of time opens up more details of art, science, socialstudies exploration, and Faith Formation.

4 year program

Pre K is a big year.  They are big kids getting ready for "big school".  Our teachers are dedicated to teaching our 4s all they need to be successful in kindergarten as well as continuing thier Faith Formation journey.  Our Pre-K students have the opportunity to learn through the new Scholastic Big Day for Pre-K Curriculum.  Scholastic Big Day for PreK is a proven effective comprehensive early learning program that embraces children’s natural curiosity and encourages them to explore and connect to the world around them.
